Digital Literacy Groups
Our digital literacy groups are practical and hands on, designed for anyone with very limited experience using computers or the internet. Whether it is setting up an email address, creating a social media account, or learning how to shop online, we offer patient and supportive guidance every step of the way.
All equipment is provided and sessions are run on a drop in basis, so there is no need to book. Just come along when it suits you.
We use the free Learn My Way platform, which covers all the basics in a clear and simple way. You can work at your own pace, with one to one support available throughout.
Our groups are led by a qualified ICT teacher with 8 years of experience teaching ICT from Key Stage 3 to A Level. We are here to help you build your confidence and feel more comfortable in the digital world.
Digital Literacy Pilot
We ran a successful pilot project with Manchester Settlement and The Resonance Centre in East Manchester, from June to September 2025, where we supported over 60 people to build their digital skills.
We also registered as a databank distributor with the Good Things Foundation and have distributed over 70 free data SIM cards to individuals across the East Manchester community.
Watch this space for our digital literacy groups taking place in your community.
